CTMH Serendipity Promotion!

Saturday, December 29, 2007

Serendipity!!! I love the word and I am loving this set :)
From left to right: includes
6 sheets of textured cardstock - think Bazzil, except, CTMH’s textured cardstock is the standard color on one side, a lighter version of that color on the back, and it has a white core! I positioned the 6 sheets of the textured cardstock so you can see what both the front color (Bamboo, Dutch Blue, Chocolate) look like and the lighter versions are right below them. 12 sheets of patterned papers - two sheets of each of the six designs shown. Hard to tell in the photo…the light blue and bamboo papers look like they have stitching on them! Lastly…3 sheets of textured diecuts - flowers, accent designs, and more…these coordinate perfectly with the last item… a D-size stamp set! This kit can be yours for only $10 with a purchase of $60 - only available thru January or while supplies last. My Open House is January 11th... I have sent out an evite, but incase you aren't on my list, let me know and I will send it right out to you! Enjoy :)

Another Christmas celebration!!! Woo hoo!!! Yesterday, Tracy and I were able to sleep in since we didn't have to be anywhere till 4pm :) We had some hot cocoa, opened some presents and played some Xbox!!! So, at 3:30 we headed to Tracy's parents house for our Winchester Christmas.... In the pictures, first we have Georgia, Keelan and Irelyn getting ready to open some presents, then Kari with a new book, "scrapbooking for the Soul", then Tracy and I, then lastly Carissa with baby Charity opening some presents. It was a great Christmas :)

Tracy and I celebrated Christmas with my parents on Sunday night with my moms siblings and extended family (there were like 36 of us), my sister and family and Tracy/I spent the night and did our Christmas on Monday morning. It was crazy! The boys got lots of toys and many of them loud, LOL. The first picture is Brayden opening up some trucks. then we got my dad, "pawpaw" with Brayden and Cooper, and then my mom, Kim and I on the backporch after breakfast getting some fresh air! It was a very nice day :) and lastly Kim and Tim got some baby girl booties.... we are all hoping and praying for a baby girl this time! My sister is due with baby #3 on June 22nd!!!!

Wedding.

Sunday, December 23, 2007

'Tis the holidays for a wedding? Tracy and I had 2 weddings to go to yesterday. Unfortunatly, time and such only allowed us to attend one. Tracy's nephew Trey and his new wife, Carissa had a very nice ceremony and reception in Lakeland. The weather turned out a little colder than expected, but its better than being hot (in my opinion). The first picture is Tracy and I of course with the bride and groom, next is Trey's parents, Terry (Tracy's brother) and Pam with Trey and Carissas daughter, Charity and lastly our niece Georgia and nephew Keelan as flower girl and ring bearer. Congrats Trey and Carissa!

Also, Congrats to my cousin Aimee who married Richard Porter yesterday in Celebration, FL. I wish we could have been there to share your happiness!

xooxox Love and Kisses to both newlyweds :)

Last Thursday & Friday we made some cookies!!! Lots of cookies!!! I guess it wouldn't be the holidays without homemade yummy cookies... Thank God my dad came home and entertained the little ones while my sister, mom and I baked :) Hope you get lots of homemade goodies in your tummy!

Next is my DH and I at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival for the first time in 2004 too :) Guess what that means? My 2004 album is COMPLETE!!!! OMG, I can't believe it. Now its onto seeing what I have left in 2005... I bounce around so I have chonological holes everywhere! Maybe my N.Y. Resolution will be to finish up 2005, 2006 and 2007 before the summer.... Enjoy

Monday - ICE & IKEA

I can't think of a better way to spend a Monday :) I went to Ikea then to ICE yesterday with my DH and my mom. We had such a good time. ICE was amazing and didn't feel like 9degrees to me, although I would definatly recommend gloves! The ice slide was fun too. My DH and I decided to try ice skating... I held on the rail the entire time and only went around once - Ice Skating is now not a thing that I will probably do again, LOL. Here are a few pictures from the day.

Christmas Layout #1

Friday, December 7, 2007

I finished a layout the other night :) woo hoo! This is from Christmas last year... which means I am almost up to date on my Christmas album! 2 more pages to go and I have already started them.

The movies.

Monday, December 3, 2007

My husband and I went to the movies last night. There were a few we wanted to see but started at bad times and a few others that got bad reviews, while trying to decide what to see we over heard a couple guys saying No Country for Old Men they had heard was really good. Well, whomever that person was is a complete idiot!!! That was the worst movie ever... well maybe not ever, but it was really bad - do not go see this movie :)

Christmas tree & fudge!

Saturday, December 1, 2007

You've gotta make it... yumm"O" as Rachel Ray would say!!! Thanks Becky for posting the recipe :)

Made some birthday cards...

Friday, November 30, 2007

I think my traveling bug is gone for a month or two. So, now I can do some scrapbooking and creative things this month! I made a few cards today using the inspiration that I got from this blog http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/. I used all CTMH products (stamps, ink, paper). The red, white and blue one is for a yahoo group that I am on, we are making cards to send to the troops and the other one is for my MIL who's birthday is next week :) Enjoy!

Thanksgiving in GA

Wednesday, November 28, 2007

Our Thanksgiving took place at General Coffee State Park this year. My husbands family all rented cabins for 3 days. We got up there on Wednesday evening and left Saturday morning. It was a great time spent with family. GCSP is a great park, they have walking trails and a nice area set up with tons of animals (goats, pigs, donkeys, roosters, chickens) and even a lake where you can rent canoes. We had a great time... even though it took 5 hours to get there!!! Enjoy.

Early Thanksgiving

Monday, November 19, 2007

I had my side of the family over yesterday for a pre-thanksgiving meal :) YUMMY! Here are a few pictures from the day. My grandparents, parents and sister with her family... the kids were crazy as usual but it was a good day and only one thing got broken, LOL! We are off on Wednesday morning - to General Coffee State Park for a long weekend with Tracy's family... more next week!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING :)

IKEA Orlando is open!!!

Oh my, I may have lost my mind... I have been waiting for Ikea to open FOREVER! When I found out the date and my mom decided she wanted to go - we were ready for an adventure. We left Palm Harbor with my dad driving the RV at 6am on Tuesday and arrived at Ikea at 8am and ready to rough it for 25 hours :) We were #42/43 in line, which means we were in the first 100 and got a FREE Poagg chair/cusion - its so cool, just need to decide where the hell I am going to put it! The day went by with no problem... walked around, watched a group play frisbee, football and 4 square, quite entertaining. There was a sponsered bingo game and pictionary game during the day too - we played, I won at bingo and got a little pillow that came in handy for my butt during the night, LOL. All was fine and dandy till about 10pm when we tried to fall asleep, realizing that the above lights were not going to be shut off so it was so bright and a group of loud girls did not shut up till about 12:30am. I think we slept on and off from about 1am - 4am, then at like 5am we start hearing helicopters and the Star Wars theme music... and coffee/doughnuts arrived :) lots of tv cameras/photographers/reporters (I may be in the UF Alligator, anyone get a copy of that?lol) we got our space cleaned up and ourselves and were then moved over at 6am to our new home in front of the doors where we got free water bottles, frisbees and a tshirt that doesn't fit me... listened to The Star Spangled Banner, the Swedish anthem and America the Beautiful as they rose the flags (very touching). Finally 9am rolled around and we were aloud inside... did I mention that I LOVE IKEA... 4 hours later, after we ate yummy swedish meatballs and chocolate cake for lunch and $220 later we were out of there :) So much fun! I bought mostly for my stamproom/studio but also got some stuff for my guest bathroom, a few gifts, new water glasses for the kitchen and some food goodies... they didn't have any Christmas stuff out yet, so i hope to go back before Christmas :) I can't wait til the one in Tampa opens, I hear 2009!!!!

Busch Estate Party on St. Pete Beach

Monday, November 12, 2007

Wow! What a great weekend :) My husband does a little computer consulting on the side and this company he has been doing work for was hosting a weekend party and we were invited as guests!!! It was at the Anhesher Busch Estate on St. Pete Beach :) a 19 million dollar estate that is for sale... The party kicked off on Friday night with our limo ride to the house and lots of good food (see ice sculputure with raw oysters and shrimp cocktail) more food, great music, hilarious comedian... on Saturday we were able to pick an activity that was paid for, we choose the spa - we stayed at the Tradewinds - we had a massage, facial and a manicure, so relaxing! Then another yummy dinner on Saturday night on the beach at the Tradewinds - i was so tired i didn't get to enjoy it as much as i'd like, but the food was so good!!!!

Cheap Trick!?!?

Friday, November 2, 2007

So, while we were in Las Vegas - the City of Sin :) LOL The last night of the Citrix Iforum (my husbands convention he attended) there is usually a concert of some sort... 2 years ago it was Bilushi (can't spell) this year was Cheap Trick! I wasn't too familiar with their songs so prior to leaving I made sure I downloaded some. Jade and I had to buy guest passes to attend the opening and closing events since we were not attendee's. It was unlimited food and wine/beer so that made up for it... The concert was at The Beach @ Mandalay Bay, where apparently freaky things happen :) well since the IT world is mostly "nerdy guys" it wasn't going to get too wild, LOL. The stage was over the water - so a few peeps starting walking out in it (really old nerdy dudes that totally remember Cheap Trick!) We were getting pretty tipsy (Tracy, my cousin Jade and 2 of Tracy's coworkers) so I decided to roll up my damn jeans and drag Jade in the water to have a little adventure... it was fun :) we ditched the party early and stopped at the bar on the way out, as you can see we double/tripled up on our beverages! We looked like total lushes walking around the casino with 2 drinks (heheehe). We ended up at the Kitty Cat Club where really slutty girls were trying to sing and dance, it was really bad and it was at Mandalay Bay... well we just drank and danced - it was a good time! Tracy will have to tell you about losing the wallet story!!!! Enjoy the pics :) I have video too, but can't upload them on here :)

Las Vegas

Friday, October 26, 2007

Our time in LV went by so fast... I wish I was still there! The first night (Sunday) Tracy and I just had an early dinner and caught up on some sleep. My cousin Jade flew in on Monday to keep me company (or in trouble) LOL. On Monday, Tracy and his 2 coworkers finished the conference around dinner time we all meet up at the convention center for FREE beer/wine/food, got bored and decided to hit the road, the most interesting drive ever, Jade and I thought we were going to die! Anyways, we ended up at the top of the Eiffel Tower! It was so cool to see the Bellagio water show from that high up, we just caught the last showing at midnight. Also, Tom (Tracy's boss) got upgraded at Manadalay Bay because he checked in so late and ended up with a suite... with an awesome view of the strip, the best part was he could push a button and the blinds went up (like in the movies!) it was so cool, we hung out up there for a while :) Next I will post a blog on my sushi experience and then our Private show with Cheap Trick.....
